Vaisala's MM70 handheld Moisture in Oil tester with HUMICAP sensor ensures stable and reliable measurement results. The probe of the moisture meter can be inserted directly into the process line through the ball valve, eliminating the need to drain the system of oil. MM70 measures moisture in oil based on water activity (aw) and temperature (T). The water activity is a direct indicator of the danger of free water in the oil. The measurement is not affected by the type of oil, use time and temperature.
